This Story Made Me $5.29 on Medium

This is how you get paid.

I hardly work these days because of the festival season; I just open my laptop here and there to check the status of my Gumroad shop and Medium earnings.

The last story I posted on Medium performed very well. I didn't expect it to do that well because it was a very basic article.

But simple things always work best. 😇

I'm not going to write too many things today.

Just a little analysis of the story.

I think the headline plays a big role here as it sparks curiosity.

The views and read ratio are normal. Even my other stories have the same views but they made way less.

So what could be the reason for the higher revenue?

It is more highlights, claps, and responses. People interact more with this story, and that boosts story revenue.
