What changed?
I decide to stick to Medium for a long time. Nothing happens overnight; every person has to work hard to succeed.
After building an audience of 5.1k on Medium, here are my 3 no-nonsense pieces of advice for you to grow and get more views on your profile.
1. Stick to one niche
I see many new writers trying to cover everything, and that's a completely wrong approach. If you want to get more views, you've to build an audience in one niche. You can't go to all things. I know you may have an interest in more than one thing that is completely different from each other.
For that, you can start a new page on Medium ( as Medium allows it ), but on the main profile, always stick to your niche.
2. Post content consistently
As easy as it sounds, consistency is hard to follow. So, first of all, to build consistency, decide your consistency.
You can post once a week or twice a week, but whatever you choose, stick to it for a long time. This will help you figure out your audience.
3. Read fellow writers and take inspiration
It takes work to get new ideas every day and write a good piece of content. Consuming content from your fellow writers can help you improve your writing.
This way, you will also know what’s working on the platform, and you can replicate the topic in your profile as well. Don't copy. Be inspired by others.
